If we want to change our world for the better, we need to make sure we educate our children accordingly. We need to equip them with the right knowledge to take positive action to protect our environment.

When your child becomes a teenager, he or she starts to develop personal identity and individuality. Teaching your teen about green values is therefore a different thing than teaching a young child.

Here are some thoughts and resources for guiding your teen as to the importance of a green lifestyle:

Encourage your teen to volunteer with local environmental groups.

That way they can get hands-on experience with environmental issues, and they will be making a real difference. Suggest that your teen get involved with local clean-up efforts or a community garden.

Participate with your teen and set a excellent example.

See if you can get the whole family (or at least another family member) to get involved in community volunteer efforts.

Consider some eco-friendly projects.

Get your teen to sew and decorate his or her own cloth tote or other projects using materials readily available around your house.

Help your teen grow some of his or her own food.

Set aside a plot of your yard, make a vegetable garden box, or use containers.

Encourage your teen to participate in day-to-day decisions and activities.

For example, let your teen plot an eco-friendly meal. He or she can plot the menu and shop for the necessary groceries. This can be an eye-opener as well – your teen can get a realistic view of what goes into eating green.

Instill green habits in your household, and be sure to say why you have such habits.

For example, teach your teen about water conservation by limiting shower time or setting up a rain barrel. Try to make sure the whole family participates – if your family limits time spent in the shower, for example, make sure that everyone abides by the rule.

Design an eco-friendly bedroom with your teen.

Teenagers like to have their own space, and will be likely to get on board with a green philosophy if it involves making their own personalized area. Furnish the room with second-hand furniture (consider a DIY furniture refurbishing project), paint the walls with eco-friendly paint, and use energy-efficient lighting. Taking safety into consideration, see about using candles in hurricane shades or in wall sconces for lighting.

There are many sites that are dedicated to informing teenagers of green issues.

- Ecosalon.com covers eco-friendly approaches to fashion, food, and personal care. It has advice and news articles to keep your teen informed and help him or her learn and develop his or her green lifestyle.

- Earth911.com covers news and emphasizes recycling. You can search Earth911 for recycling centers near you.

- TheDailyGreen.com calls itself “the consumer’s guide to the green revolution.” More than just a news site, The Daily Green offers practical tips on how to get started going green.

For additional teen-oriented sites about going green, do an internet search for “green teen websites.” After looking at these examples, perhaps you may want to encourage your teen to start his or her own green site.

I have Pampers Baby Dry & bought f? Chairs & Learn f? R more than 2 Five years through Amazon. No more. They do not offer the free delivery more? About these products, and I will here my Gesch? Ft elsewhere. If you want to receive the shipping on them, you have to buy a $ 79 Prime membership, this is not free IMO. Amazon lie? they are loyal customers with this one huge e time.

I just supply the smallest number of them to Verf?, And I am glad that I start tat.Um, despises my baby changed her diaper. But we were with the Huggies diapers and baby blankets to wrap them, both of which are soft and flexible. And they fit her right. So when I open the package? And see how scratchy and nn d? Are, I’m skeptical, but chose to try it anyway. I laid her baby on her head as she screams, louder and more violent than? Bleached. And I can not honestly blame. This rotten diapers do not fit well either, huge e L cke? In the top of the diaper, where her stomach and diaper “seal” should. The first and only time she wore them, they got “dirty” and it st what doctors and from the beginning of this diaper. I can not tell you how verr? The T? Ago are excellent, but I was? Surprised that they tats? Chlich a smell. Apparently “baby fresh” means a particular scent:) I have these tats? F chlich? R my dog, simple to his feet after a walk to wischen.Der container is sturdy and the lid? Opened slightly, the only problems that it is very deep so if there are a few left, it is hard to wipe them herauszuziehen.Insgesamt this is a excellent product.

I was disappointing? Uscht, with these T? Chern because of the size? E. If anything they gr? He w? Re, k? I nnte one, but I end up with 2 each time that I change my baby? To clean it really is. Ive never tried Pampers Feuchtt? Ago, but I thought, as they name brand that they wouldnt f? Hle me were like the cheap. I was incorrect. These T? Ago as the cheap Parents Choice wipes. It wad on you when you are with them and really wipe d nn?. Huggies are huge because they like the cloth and keep their shape as you wipe.

I was very frustrated and ver? Rgert with this product. We used a w? Zun wipes warmer? Chst born with our first and we could not have this T? Holes in the w? Wipe warmer because they max within a day or two went dry. We thought not with the Feuchtt? Chern w? Rmer w? Help rde. It takes some time but the wipes still take up only a week in the package. they are horrible. They are also really d? Nn and small and light rei? En. We tried the Huggies wipes and had more success with them. We will probably use something more environmentally friendly soon.

No one will deny the importance of play in a child?s life. But, just because play is vital doesn?t mean their play area has to be a mess. Consider some of these to finally get the area in order.

Start sorting like items. This means getting all of the toy cars together and putting all of the doll items ? dolls, clothes, accessories ? in one place. Stack all books in one location. Find boxes or plastic totes to place the different toy items in. This will contain them until you?re ready to deal with them.

Once the items are separated and contained, start going through each container. You will be able to see how many toys your children have. You will also be able to determine which toys your children have outgrown. If they?ve outgrown the toys and don?t have an emotional attachment to them, place them aside to get rid of.

Choose what you will do with each toy. The choices are:

1. Keep it. Then choose where it will be kept or stored.

2. Donate it. Take it to Goodwill, Salvation Army, battered women?s shelter or another organization which accepts gently used toys.

3. Toss is. If it?s broken or not in excellent shape, get rid of it unless it has sentimental value.

4. Sell it. This option is only if you will have a yard sale quickly.

After you?ve purged your children?s toys, come up with a way to organize them. Get your children?s input. Question them what would be simplest for them to place things back into when they?re finished playing with the toys. Plastic containers with lids, drawers or something else may be needed. The system doesn?t have to be expensive and is a excellent investment as long as the children will use it.

Reckon about what you?ve tried to use for organizing in the past. Perhaps they have a toy box with a lid which they can?t open. Chances are, if your children have problems with it, this may be the reason they?re not using it. Try to repurpose it in another room or get rid of it entirely. This will allow you room to try something different they will use.

Depending upon the age of your children, you may want to paste a picture of each item on the front of the box, bin or tote holding it. This will help them know which pieces go in which container. Lower shelves so your children can reach them, place boxes or bins back on them, and they will be more likely to keep things organized.

Have a specific place for them to be creative. A table and chairs with all arts and crafts supplies nearby may be just what your children need. Place a small bookshelf by the table with small bins with crayons, markers, clay or other craft items. Question them to place things back when they?re finished with them to ensure the supplies don?t dry out or get ruined by some other means.

Take the time to help your children clean their play area or room after the new organization method is place in place. Show them where each item goes, point out the pictures and how you want the room to look when it is clean. Then let them do the work and you supervise, giving suggestions along the way.

When you?ve used some of these and the children know what you expect, they should be able to keep their room in shape.
